 BreakPoint 2006 coming up 04:14
I just checked the Breakpoint party page and while browsing around I found a nice looking results of a BP'05 survey.

http://breakpoint.untergrund.net/survey2005.php

Question 2: For statistical purposes, we ask you to check all platforms you are ACTIVE (create scene productions) on.

PC 69.6% (215)
C64 21.0% (65)
Amiga AGA 19.4% (60)
...

The number of people who voted C64 here probably is a little bit too high, as some C64 news portal directly linked to our survey without any hint that this survey is for Breakpoint-Visitors only (*sigh*)

Well, how about if every C64 scener attending this year BP took an A4 paper with C= logo printed on it and while watching C64 compos/productions on big screen waved over their heads to show Scamp that there actually might be that ammount of visitors. It might look quite nice on photograph.

Btw. check also the survery about executable music compos. I like especially the last two options which have very nice manipulative touch in them... "I don't care about the other 8Bit platforms.", which makes elegant omission of the fact that they also put 16 bit machines into the compo, or I would prefer to have a seperated SID competition again, in addition to the "oldschool" executable music. I know this would collide, and C64 sceners would have to decide in which competition to take part.. ;-)) But anyway, don't forget to bring some C64 compo productions to the party, or you might end with oldschool demo compo and oldschool gfx compo instead of C64 ones, next year.

On the other hand, that would mean *you* care about other 8bit plattforms and allow them to take the part. I just wonder why it's only important to care about "8bit" platform as far as music compos are concerned but forget about other 8-bit platforms in demo cathegory. ;-)

you can use this timestamp file to watch movies chronologically :)
also check out changelog to be sure you’’ll get all the stuff as it gets uploaded.

*) you probably may need g.726 codec for hearing sound under windows OS. It can be downloaded here (works under 9x and xp for sure)
